A ‘Cloudship Press-adjacent’ publication, made by Tessa whilst in residence at BEMA, an arts & cultural space in Querétaro (Mexico), as a guest of Marjetica Potrč’s ‘Design for the Living World’ Masters class in Social Design ‘Design for the Living World’ (HfBK, Hamburg).

An artist book in three parts, each a fold-out street in the tiny, gentrifying San Francisquito neighbourhood around BEMA. Drawings of contiguous street facades are annotated with stories (bilingual in English & Spanish) of the residents who live or work there, using their homes and streets as businesses, workshops, community spaces and semi-public sites of collective solidarity.

Riso-printed with help from Maiqo Aazufre at ATEA artist-run studios (Mexico City) in a miniscule edition of 24; cut and folded by hand. As each participating resident was given a copy, not many made it into circulation! Nonetheless a couple are still on hand (and a reprint potentially on the horizon), contact for details.
